At first, I am suspicious when I see such a mixed line up...but I can't resist when I also see Henderson (joe) in it - and Caliman !
ResponderEliminarBy the way, I wish the best to this young blog which seems to be a serious one regarding the presentation and efforts made to offer us these kind of sessions.
Thanks for it, Calisan, much appreciated !
Thanks for your comments Bhowani

Stumbled on this post by chance, and you cannot believe how happy I was to see this flawless (and lossless) rip of this oop LP that never made it to the digital format officially. Joe Henderson is in great form, and as another highlight: DeJohnette's composition "New Orleans Strut" that he (DeJohnette) recorded again only some 10 years later with his Special Edition (on ECM). Hey, and the opener is a great rendition of John Coltrane's classic - combining movements/parts 1 + 2 (Acknowledgement and Resolution) into this arrangement here.
ResponderEliminarThank you very, very much for this post!
